Mark Terry-Lush

Current positions:  Board member of Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism Association (Director) and member of the PR/Marketing sub-group

Brief experience:

I have been a member of the board since 2014 and a member of the Association for about 10 years running a self-catering business in Chaxhill; outside the area I own a self-catering business in France.  I am a former press photographer; today I run an international communications agency with offices in London, USA and China.  Some of my experience is with entertainment, tourism and leisure clients, including Visit Bristol, plus five star and boutique hotels in the UK and Europe. Last year I coordinated the campaign to launch the Association’s TV and Movie Trail with surfing Stormtroopers and Darth Vader hijacking the SARA Lifeboat.

Key skills: Management, business development, PR, marketing, working with the media.

Reasons for being a member of the board: I feel I can make a contribution to the Association given my professional experience. Since becoming a board member I have also acted as spokesperson for the Association on TV, radio and newspapers on tourism matters.
