It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism!

Christmas has arrived, the decorations are up in the shops, lights are being switched on in towns and what better way is there to get into the festive mood than enjoying some of the great events being put on by members of Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism?

Over the coming weeks, building up until the big day itself, are seasonal events from large and small businesses spread around Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire, including the amazing underground Christmas grotto at Clearwell Caves, Mary Rose Young Pottery’s Christmas Show, pantos, Christmas cooking experiences, Santa Trains, carol singing and Christmas Markets, to name just a small selection.

Maureen McAllister, Executive Director of Wye Valley and Forest of Dean Tourism said: “We’re always excited when Christmas comes around as it shows again all the brilliant things we can offer in the DeanWye region all year round; fantastic food and drink, great accommodation and of course our great attractions – but all with that extra Christmas sparkle!”

Christmas themed events have now started, and many will be running right up until the Christmas weekend. For more information on visiting the Christmas events in the Wye valley and Forest of Dean area see
