This was the first meeting held at Hanley Farm Shop and it was good to see about 60 members present.  Many thanks to Lyndon Edwards and his staff for welcoming us and for the great cakes!

Yvette Farrell, Director, welcomed members on behalf of the board and gave a brief update on the Association’s activities.

Lyndon Edwards told members about the farm, its history and subsequent development and diversification.

Melanie Jones from Glide Media told us about their leaflet distribution business.  In the Internet age leaflets are still an important form of tourism advertising.  Melanie’s presentation can be downloaded.

Lindsay Hayes from the Amazing Hedge Puzzle (and other 3 other attractions) at Symonds Yat shared his experiences and knowledge of car parking problems and the solutions.

Rachel Shilston, an artist based at Hanley Farm, told us about her business, Inspiring Creativity, and some of the projects she is involved in and the classes that she runs.

Finally Tim Davies reminded us how we can raise the profile of our businesses using PR and social media by working with the Association.
