An opportunity has arisen for someone to work with the Association recruiting members on a flexible freelance basis for up to 50 days in 2017. The successful person would work from home and be expected to approach businesses to discuss joining the Association, manage them through the joining process and follow-up with them once joined.
The position will be paid at £7.50 per hour plus 25% commission of the first year’s membership fees of those recruited) plus travel expenses.
The days worked are flexible, although Iit is anticipated the successful person will initially work at least 2 days per week to establish the sales pipeline and the days are mainly to be used outside of school holidays as this is when our members and prospective members are busiest.
Candidates must have a full driving licence, be a self-starter and able to manage the sales process in a professional way.
The successful person would need to have a good understanding of tourism businesses and knowledge of the local area and especially Monmouthshire, Herefordshire and South Wales Borders.
